success!

Dear readers –  if I have any – due to me being tekanogikally advanced, you can now click on the images I post here to see a larger version! With thanks to Dave for the instructions on How To.  I have now gone back and fixed all of them this way. In a progress update, […]

Put on your wings

This was made for a friend as a housewarming present.  I haven’t given it to her yet, but I figured I can upload it here.  She loves dragonflies and shabby chic, and when I found the pictures it inspired me to try to combine the two. Golden fluid acrylics on canvas, with collage, stamping, found […]

A bit of an update

I haven’t forgotten about Synaesthezia, but between work and being sick I haven’t had time to do much of an update.  I have a few more canvases I need to photograph and update, plus I have been working on revisions of my freeform, Regency Revels.  I also went on a bit of a card making […]

The green fairy . . .

I used a different type of paint – light fast metallic acrylics.  I also used a different palette, with antique olive and copper paint. I actually started this ages ago but got a bit stuck on it.  Finished it this week.

Cho Cho San

This was a birthday present for a friend. Some of the same images as used in A Memory of Roses, but I was going for a different feel in this one.  I also used a modified palette, moving more into the blue-based purples

while in the updating mood

So, I have been a bit blocked of late, unable to create art or write.  This is due in large to stresses in my life (predominently work), but also due to some limitations I put on myself.  Namely, no creative stuff until I got all of the wedding related thank yous done.  I had done […]

And more artwork

As you may have realised, I have just got photos of my canvas art (thanks to Daedalist), which is why I’m uploading it.  Some of them are several years old now.  I think there is now only one that I do not have a copy of, but I’m sure I can get it from Lotusvine […]

Some artwork

This was my very first art canvas, and although I would probably do some things a bit differently now, I’m pretty happy with it.
