Vintage birdcage

I made this card for my manager’s birthday in September.  She keeps all the cards I give her -birthday, Christmas and her wedding card too – and has them on display in her office, so I need to make sure I do something different for her each year.

I know she likes vintage style, shabby chic images, there is quite a lot of cross over in our styles (including when we theme events).  So for this card I used some paper and chipboard images that I got with a magazine.  It isn’t a colour scheme I would normally use, I don’t have much that is yellow.  But I added in touches of pink which was a bit more in my comfort zone.
