  • Look at this tiny munchkin. This photo is from Christmas time, so she's a bit bigger now. Little Coco was handreared at the cat rescue from 2 weeks old, as she didn't have a mother. We started fostering her from 6 weeks. This was at 12 weeks, but still barely bigger than her food bowl. The only thing she loves more than food is our other cat @apollo_msb, she utterly adores him 🐈🐾

  • View of the Ponte Vecchio and Arno River at dusk. The Ponte Vecchio is mediaeval stone bridge also known as Ponte d'Oro - bridge of gold - due to the goldsmith shops along the bridge. The shops have been there since the mediaeval period, and it is the only bridge in Firenze that was not bombed by the Nazis as they retreated in 1944.  The Medicis constructed a secret walkway, the Vasari Corridor, above the shops. It connects the Palazzo Vecchio with Palazzo Pitti.

  • Spice and nut vendor at the St Antoine’s open-air fresh produce market on the banks of the River Saône. Local cafes and restaurants get their produce here every day except Monday (from 6am). We saw gourmet sausages and salamis, fresh from the farm. Huge wheels of cheese. Fresh loaves of bread. Bright coloured flowers.  And of course these gorgeous coloured spices which caught my eye.  If we’d been staying longer, we would have definitely got some produce here. 
Make sure you check the markets out if you are in Lyons.

  • The view walking up the driveway at Villa Strozzi in Florence.  It really was a beautiful place.  I wish the weather had been nicer on the days we were there so we could have seen the grounds a bit more.
